Seems to me that the black monoliths are some kind of 5D egregores, who analogous to individual complexes organize the mass libidinous flows into efficent conglomerates but act in the non-linear time-space of the collective unconscious. Like some kind of angelic administration office building lol.
My interpretation is (about your visualizations), your subconscious connects to a higher realm, one which us probably cannot actually decode or see, through a terminal created by or for you. So the symbols are (the tower, monoliths from the movie 2001: a space odyssey, etc) like words of a language, a language that's yours, to create a representative world for your understanding.
So I believe if the formula is as such, in this and other aspects, actual religious beliefs are not as important, just a "language" you can focus and condense with, but I assume it would help a great deal if it's a well-structured one, one that you can believe deeply. But like let's say if you were to connect religions in a hermetic way and create your own belief system, build a solid structure (with icons, symbology etc.), and be able to truly believe in that belief system, would you still be able to dive deeper?
I'm sorry if I barely make sense, this is just me trying to make sense of your practical works as a solely theoretical guy. You said something on one of your Q&A's about being outside of a religion and then examining it and how it would undermine your capabilities at practical work and as someone who just examines the religions from outside it pushed me greatly to just choose a good one and focus on trying to experience more and some part of me still clings to building "A Religion of Everything" like a physics theory that combines and explains all theories.
It's extremely rare I meet someone who not only "pays attention" but "juices" the creative forces from which continuously connected and profound synchronicities spring forth. It's good not to be alone, fellow traveler.
